In our house we have about a dozen boxes for segregating our trash. Yet, still, there is trash that just can’t be recycled or put to use as a pillow (our last resort for plastic bags and wrappers!). What to do with the bloody plastic bag that held the frozen chiken? Or broken plastic goods like tooth brushes and razors?
They will go somewhere wether we like it or not. Here in the village, they get burned (creating toxic fumes and ashes) or they gradually get swept down into the river. I don’t particularly like any of those options.
So, just like you saw in some of my other posts we’re stashing it in bottles! Slowly but surely we are using the trash bricks to build a bench and flower pots outside our door to make a welcoming entryway.
It doesn’t look too pretty in the photo, but, it is getting there!
