Nora counts the straws that make up her woven house mat while her grand daughter looks down from her back. This amazing mat took the family a year to make using purely recycled straws that their relatives in neighboring villages collected and sent them. We’ll be their adding mats to our collection of “Trashure” products. All in all, this mat is composed of 7064 straws. Now that’s what I call recycling!
The 5’2 by 4’3 mat will be priced at 600$. It could easily hang as a 21st century fine art tapestry on your wall.
